What you need, you need. Nevertheless, we are on our way with horse and mule, try to pack as easily as possible!

Everything you don’t need during the ride you can leave in your room. For on the way everybody gets a saddlebag for lunch, camera, sun cream etc. Everything else comes in military bags and is tied to the mule. Jackets can also be tied to the outside of your luggage, so they’re always at hand when it gets cold.

Climate

The climate in the small north of Chile is warm and dry. The higher we ride, the colder it gets. But usually sun protection is more important than cold or even rain protection.
